Beef Stroganoff
Beef stroganoff easy recipe
Beef Stroganoff is a classic Russian dish in a rich creamy sauce.
basic components...
Beef is typical sirloin tenderloin or chuck cut in thin strips... you can also use ground beef which side note my Husband prefers. It however is not traditional.
Sauce is a creamy base of sour cream Dijon mustard beef broth Worcestershire sauce heavy cream and for thickening flour.
additionally sautéed mushroom and onions garlic
to start if you are using ground beef brown and drain of grease remove from pan.add in about 2 tablespoons butter add finely diced onions and sliced mushrooms. Cook until onions are translucent add garlic cook additional 2 minutes or until garlic is fragrant, not to much as to not burn garlic.
then add about 2 tablespoons of flour cook additional 2-3 minutes add broth Worcestershire Dijon and sour cream. Serve over egg noodles or mash potatoes.
Maple Pecan banana bread with cream cheese maple glaze
- 3 cups flour
- 1 package instant vanilla pudding
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup room temperature butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 tbls pure maple syrup
- 5-6 very rip bananas
- 2 ounces cream cheese
- 2 tbls maple syrup
- 1 tbls milk

chocolate peanut butter chip cookies
Chocolate peanut butter chip cookies
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2/3 unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp backing soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup 2 sticks butter softened not melted
- 3/4 granulated sugar
- 3/4 brown sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 large eggs room temperature
- 2 cups peanut butter chips I like to also add about 1/2 cups chocolate chips but not necessary
preheat oven to 350
cream butter slightly add sugar until combined add eggs 1 at a time then vanilla
shift flour cocoa baking soda salt and add to mixture
Mix until well combined Fold in chips
scoop dough onto cookie sheet lined with parchment
bake 8-12 minutes pull out let cool on sheet for a bit
and enjoy
Home Made Buttermilk Ranch Dressing
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 tsp dried dill
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
salt and pepper
splash vinegar
mix all ingredients together
i added to a mason jar
refrigerate keeps up to a week
enjoy this is way better then store bought
